The smell is heavenly. When we moved here 13 years ago my mum gave me a cutting of the lilac that was in her garden. It's now a lovely 9ft bush and at this time of year is swathed in beautiful white flowers.

Lovely wallflowers of all colours and our beloved lilacs- we have one in white and one in pink. Absolutely intoxicating x

ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to plant a white lilac in our garden. I remember playing greengrocers with my sister as children and we always used to pick a white lilac posy and pretend it was cauliflower! It sure does smell gorgeous and I really must get round to planting some in my garden, it will bring back some wonderful memories year after year. x
ReplyDeleteSmelly in my garden - well at the moment it's the dog, she's just rolled in deer poo, she thinks it's heavenly, I don't quite agree!!
