Actually
I am a tad disappointed as I was hoping for four figures – in the last few weeks I
have not spent money to have the change to add to the tin, or to receive a £2 coin or £5 note.
The
money will be taken to the bank, changed into notes put it back into the tin, the
tin will be resealed and we will start collecting again until beginning of
December next year. Need some inspiration have a look over here.
Must
go as I have cakes that are in need of a marzipan blanket.

Wow. That's an impressive haul. And hooray, I'm not the only one who made a list of exactly how many of each coin and note she had. :) Well done. And good on you for having the fortitude to return it all to the pot and not spend it. Now that's commitment!
ReplyDeleteWell done - that's a great amount!
ReplyDeleteWow, thats an amazing amount! Well done you!
ReplyDeleteHi MH,
ReplyDeleteI do understand that you would have liked to have reached those 4 figures but believe me you have saved an amazing amount and i have a feeling you are going to be even more determined this year! I've listed your goal as the fab holiday . Hope that's correct. I have to say you and MW have put me to shame with how neatly you have totalled up your money.
The best of luck for next year and thanks for all your support this year too.

My goodness, how long did it take you to count out all of this money - what a fantastic effort! I can understand why you'd be disappointed in not reaching the 4 figures as you'd hoped, but I hope you can see just how well you've done.
ReplyDeleteGood luck for 2014!
Wishing you and yours a magical Christmas time...Merry Merry Christmas!
