Patchwork granny square blanket

It’s nearly done - 560 squares (28x20).  The colours and the randomness of their placement – just make me smile.

The down side is it’s not big enough – I think I need another 5 or 6 rows along the long edge another 140 or 168 squares.

I have enough yarn – good old Stylecraft Special DK – I have only had to buy one additional ball of light blue I have plenty to finish.

I must tell you my ebay selling generated £155.54 – which is amazing; will have to start looking out other stuff to sell and declutter.

  4. Love the blanket, so bright and cheery. My stylecraft stash has been obliterated recently by blanket after blanket being made. Not sure I want to increase it again as most of the blankets in the house are made with it and it would be nice to have some in different yarns/colours for variety. It's so tempting to buy a few more balls though as it's so cheap, I love a bargain!! Just finished another blanket today and really tempted to start a new one - got 3 on the go still so will have to finish one of those before embarking on a new project! Hope you are well. Will be posting soon about the bloggy blanket. xx
